The bottoms of ravines and some other sections of hiking trails are completely icy in places, you need to adjust your equipment and footwear to this. In the gorges there is a large amount of water in places, which cannot be avoided. We recommend bringing waterproof footwear and chain hiking crampons or walking sticks. In the Tiesňava valley near Stratená there was a slope slide, which damaged the entire hiking trail and the safety chains. The Tiesňava valley will therefore be closed for a long time until further notice.
